Moto Z Play with Snapdragon 625, 5.5-inch Display and Moto Mods support announced

At IFA, Motorola has just announced its latest mid-range smartphone Moto Z Play. This smartphone will be available globally in beginning on September. It is priced at $449.99 and will be available in Black,Silver,Black Slate, White, Fine Gold and Sugar White colors.

Moto Z Play is the mid-range phone of Z series. It features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It also supports Moto’s software features like Moto Display and Moto Actions. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 SoC with 3 GB RAM.

Moto Z Play will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage models with support to microSD card. It has 16-megapixels rear camera with dual LED flash, Laser autofocus and PDAF. It also has a 5-megapixels camera with wide-angle lens and front LED Flash.

This phone has Water repellent nano-coating like other Moto phones. It also has Moto Mods connector similar to other Moto Z Phones. It also has a fingerprint sensor at front side below the display.

This phone comes with various connectivity options including 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and USB Type-C port. It has 3510 mAh battery which is large to power this device for longer time.
