Now Play PlayStation Games on your PC

Ever wondered if you could play Sony PlayStation games on your PC? Now you can! It isn’t through an emulator or a hack, you can play them legitimately as Sony is bringing its streaming service, PlayStation Now.

This is a dream come true for many gamers out there! All PS3 games can now be played on your PC including PlayStation exclusive games like God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Last of Us and Uncharted 3.

Though the DualShock 3 controllers worked amazing with PlayStation Now on other platforms, you will need a DualShock 4 Controller to play on PC.  The new controllers are great as the can be connected with a Micro USB cable which is now available with most of the mobile phones. Sony is also releasing a Dongle which will allow both Windows and Mac users to use the DualShock 4 Controllers wirelessly.

The PlayStation Now is not a new service as it was launched in the UK last year. It was launched as a workaround to the PS4 not having compatibility with its predecessor’s games. It also allowed PS3 owners to play games that they don’t own, cheaply.

Sony announced that PlayStation Now offers a 7 Day free trial after which a user has to pay $20 a month for month-to-month services, $45 for three months of service, or $100 for a year’s worth of service.

The gamers, however, have to ensure they have a high-quality internet connection. The minimum recommended internet speed is 5 Mbps, however, it is at, at least 10 Mbps one can experience uninterrupted gameplay. A wired internet connection is recommended for optimal experience.

Sony has also released the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC, which is as follows:

This announcement brought tears to the eyes of many gamers across the globe since the PS Now feature enables you to play from anywhere as long as you have good internet; Unlike traditional PlayStation, for which you had to be in one place in from of your TV screen. Hopefully, there won’t be any fights for “Master Race” in near future.
