BlackBerry has just revealed its new Android phone BlackBerry DTEK50. BlackBerry claims that this new phone is world’s most secure smartphone. It encrypts all users’ information in phone including personal data and business data. It also provided advanced malware protection along with backup, wipe and restore.

This phone comes with visibility and control over apps. You can easily check what apps is getting access to your personal info or microphone or camera. Users can monitor apps to know if their privacy is at risk.

This phone has the same specifications as in Alcatel Idol 4 that was introduced earlier this year.

BlackBerry DTEK50 features a 5.2-inch full GD display with scratch-resistant glass. It is powered by octa-Core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor with 550MHz Adreno 405 GPU and 3 GB RAM.

It comes with 16 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up 2TB. It has 13 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and 6P lens. At front, it has 8-megapixels front camera.

It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. It offers 2610 mAh battery with support to fast charging.

BlackBerry DTEK50 is priced at $299 and is now available for pre-order through ShopBlackBerry.com in the U.S., Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands.
