Today at Lenovo Tech World at San Francisco, Lenovo announced Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones. Both phones will be available globally from September. These smartphones will come with Moto Mods, which are designed to work with future generations of Moto Z smartphones. Prices of this phone will be confirmed at the time of availability.
Moto X comes with 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. It comes with 5.2mm thin metal body which makes it thinnest premium smartphone. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage models with option to expand storage up to 2 TB.
It features a 13-megapixels rear camera with OIS and laser autofocus. At front side, it has 5-megapixels front camera with front flash and wide angle lens. It is packed with 2600 mAh battery that delivers up to 30 hours of battery life. It is also packed with TurboPower charging which charges give 8 hours of battery life in 15 minutes of charging. This phone is “water-repellant”, so it can handle splashes or rain.

Moto Z Force is the is the successor of Moto X Force. It comes with ‘Shatterproof’ display. It carries same ShatterShield technology which makes display very hard to crack. Moto X Force features a 5.5 inch Quad HD Shatterproof display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It features a fingerprint sensor very similar to Moto G4 Plus. It is built from Aircraft-grade aluminum and still weight is just 136 grams.
It comes with 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB RAM. Internal storage of this phone is 32GB or 64GB internal storage models with option to expand up to 2TB with microSD.

Moto Mods is the main thing of this phone which you can see below. It connects to the 16 dots at the rear where you can connect accessories. At the launch, it included JBL SoundBoost, the Moto Insta-Share Projector and the Power Pack.
Like other Motorola phones, Style Shells will also be available to offer finishes like real wood, leather, and fabric.
With Moto Mods, it gives you advantage of Modular phone. Unlike LG G5, you do not have to turn off the phone to add another module.
