LG G5 With 5.3-inch Quad HD always-on display, Dual Rear Cameras and Modular Add-Ons Support Launched

We have been waiting or LG’s next flagship device for past few months and finally LG G5 is official. This phone comes with the fluid metal body with beveled glass on the front. The bottom part can be separated where one can install the modular component. It can be removed to access card slot, battery and several other add-ons.

LG G5 features a 5.3-inch Quad-HD display with 3D Arc Glass and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU with 4 GB RAM. It offers a 32 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 2 TB.

It comes with dual cameras at the rear panel. Rear side contains 16-megapixels rear camera with laser autofocus, dual tone flash and 4K recording. 8-megapixels secondary rear camera is also there. At the front, it offers an 8-megapixels front camera.

It is packed with 2800mAh (removable) battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity features of the phone are 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.

It also comes with fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor.

LG has also launched a range of companion devices for this phone. These devices are called LG Friends. These devices are a 360-degree camera, the LG 360 VR headset, and the LG Rolling Bot.

Company didn’t talk about release details and pricing.
