Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL coming to India in December and Surface Pro 4 in January 2016

At the Future Unleashed 2015 event in Mumbai, Microsoft confirmed that its Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones will be launched in India in December this year. Surface Pro 4 will also make its way to India in January 2016. Pricing details will be confirmed at the time of launch.

Microsoft Lumia 950 will be available in dual SIM variant. It features a 5.2 inch QHD AMOLED Clear Back display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is packed with 3 GB RAM, 20 megapixels rear camera with OIS, triple RGB flash, 4K video recording, 5 megapixels front camera, 32 GB internal storage with microSD card slot, 4G, 3G, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, USB Type C and 3000 mAh battery.

Lumia 950 XL also comes with similar specifications but with larger display. It has a 5.7 inch QHD AMOLED clearblack display with gorilla glass 4 protection. It is powered by a octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU. It is packed with 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 20 MP pureview rear camera, 4K recording, 5 MP front camera, USB Type C and 3340 mAh battery

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL key specifications

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is latest 2-in-1 tablet from Microsoft. It is packed with 12.3-inch (2160×1440 pixels) display with 267PPI. Display uses Microsoft’s PixelGlass technology that has 1024 different pressure sensitivity levels. It runs on Windows 10. It comes with 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It supports upto 16GB of RAM and up to 500GB of storage. It also supports Windows Hello face authentication using the camera and authentication with fingerprint sensor. It will be available in different processor, RAM and storage variants.
