Special thing is that it is up to you what you want to record and it should be a personalised video to show your point of view. You can record anything around you. You can record any moment related to you or happening around you.
You can submit your video on indiainaday.withgoogle.com. If your video is best fit for movie, your video will be used in the movie and you will get credit as co-director of the movie. The film will be directed by Richie Mehta and executive produced by Ridley Scott and Anurag Kashyap. R.Balki, Shekhar Kapur and Zoya Akhtar will serve as creative consultants of the movie. Now, it is a big chance to be a part of the project along with the big names. In this way, it will be first user generated full length movie shot in one day. This movie will be released in 2016.
As per Sandeep Menon, Director Marketing Google India “India stands at a unique moment in its history: a time of great change, sparked by technology. With the smartphone revolution transforming every aspect of our lives, from the mundane to the profound. We are very excited to partner on this project to help showcase the story of evolving India and look forward to sharing this experience with everyone.”
Anurag Kashyap adds, “We want to tell the story of India in a single day, and we want you to help. You can grab your camera and capture anything and everything around you. Film anything. But most of all, make it personal. Make it your point of view. Tell us what you love, what you hate, what worries you, what you hope for, what you want to change.”
