Various factors considered while ranking these book sellers. Final results were finalised by standardising data from big sources like Wikipedia traffic, Google Books N-Gram and Google search term frequency. The index was based on two factors – the number of people thinking about these stores and its frequency.
This is another big achievement for the Flipkart which started its operation as an online book seller few years back in 2007. Founders were working for Amazon when they decide to start their own online book store in India.
Another online retailer Infibeam also managed to get 12th rank in this list. See the full list below.
