At WSJD Live Conference, Google unveiled its futuristic nanoparticle project which can someday detect diseases like cancer in your bloodstream. Google X Team is working on tiny magnetic particles to patrol the human body for the death causing diseases.
This will help in getting full picture of the person’s health. Current medical science tests only helps in drawing snapshot of a specific thing. This is the reason, it takes more than one tests to spot a early stage cancer.
Google has already promised that it will never use the data collected by nanoparticles for marketing. Google will also not store this data.
“Every test you ever go to the doctor for will be done through this system,” Andrew Conrad, head of the Life Sciences team at Google X.
As of now, everything is in concept and it will take time to make this into a real project. But I am really excited to see this in real. It will surely be an revolution in medical science. Google has not promised any time frame, so we can only guess and I am sure guess will be wrong. So, stop guessing and wait for more announcement about this project. It could be decades before Google’s nanoparticle research pays off.
