Along with Sony Xperia Z3, Sony also unveiled Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. It was also announced earlier this month at IFA 2014. The smartphone has dual stereo front facing speakers that was also present in its predecessor Sony Z1 Compact. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be available in White, Black, Orange and Green and it is priced at Rs 44,990. The smartphone will be available all across the country from today itself.
Sony Xperia Z3 Compact features a 4.6-inch Triluminos Display along with with X-Reality engine. The display is considered slightly larger than its predecessor Z1 Compact. It is equipped with 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. The smartphone will run on latest version of Android that is Android 4.4.4. Talking about the photo clicking abilities, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact has a 20.7MP rear or back facing camera with features like Exmos RS sensor and HDR photos. It also features a 2.2MP front facing camera. The battery backup of the smartphone seems ok as it has 2600mAh Battery with STAMINA mode as compared to Sony Xperia Z3.
Other features include 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card upto 128GB. The smartphone weighs around 129 grams. Like all the Sony smartphones Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is also dust and water resistance free. Coming to the connectivity end, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact has a 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac , Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS/ GLONASS, MHL and NFC.
