On Thursday, Samsung unveiled its new flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S at an event in New York City. Galaxy Tab S comes in two sizes: 8.4 and 10.5 inches.

Samsung claims that the new tablet series comes with high resolution Super AMOLED display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution. Samsung also claims that screen technology gives better color and deeper contrasts while consuming less power than LCD display. Adaptive display of the tablet will change the white balance of tablet based on the ambient light. Display of the tablets offers 90% of Adobe RGB color coverage for accurate color output.

These tablets are powered by Exynos 5 Octa or Snapdragon 800 Processors and run on Android 4.4 Kitkat. Galaxy Tab S tablets have 3 GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2.1 megapixel front camera, 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-FI Direct, GPS, GLONASS and Beidou.

Other cool features are Fingerprint Scanner, Ultra-Power Saving Mode, Group Play, S-Note, S Translator, Samsung Link, Call Forwarding feature via SideSync 3.0, Call Forwarding feature via SideSync 3.0, Quick Connect to connect to nearby devices for content sharing and more.

The WiFi variants of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 would start at US$399 and US$499 respectively.

Galaxy Tab S tablets will come in Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White colors. These tablets will be available from the end of June, 2014.
