Twitter has started rolling out new user profiles. These new profile aims to express more about users. New user profile lets users use large profile photo, customizable header, pinning the tweet at top and lot more.
This new profile is only available for small group of users. In the coming weeks, it will be available for all users. New profile comes in three column layout. Middle section is bigger and display tweets in larger format. Photos and videos attached in the tweet will be shown bigger.
At the left side, it display profile pic of the user. Below the profile pic, it display the bio, list of following and followers. At the right side, it display suggested profiles and trending topics.
These are the main new features other than new user profile.
- Best Tweets: Twitter confirms that your popular tweets will be shown larger on your profile.
- Pinned Tweets: You can also pin a tweet at the top of your page. It is similar to the pin feature already available on the Facebook pages.
- Filtered Tweets: You can also ch0ose which timeline to view when check other users’ Twitter profile.
