Google Introduces ‘Gmail Shelfie’ For April Fools’ Day

Today is April 1 and Google has already started April Fool’s prank of the year. On Gmail blog, they announced “Gmail Shelfie,” a way to turn Gmail background into a selfie and share it with friends.

“Selfie custom themes are incredibly popular in Gmail and they just got better. With Shelfies (Shareable Selfies) you can set your own photo as a Gmail custom theme and share it with your friends so they can enjoy looking at you as much as you do,” Gmail said.

SHelfie means SHareable sELFIE. You can also share your shelfie with your friends. You can also check out Gmail’s top trending shelfies to see how you can create your own awesome Shelfie.

This feature is already available for most of the Gmail users. When you open your Gmail today, it will show you a notification of the feature.
