Facebook has a good news for BlackBerry 10 device owners. Facebook app for BlackBerry 10 now supports Facebook chat. In Facebook chat, you can also send photos along with text messages. You can also see when friend is typing a message.
Other features added in the app includes ability to change profile photo and cover photo from your phone. It also changes the look and feel of page admin.
These are the main changes in the app
- Stay up-to-date with friends using Facebook chat. See who is online, start chat, send photos in chat. See when a friend is typing
- Facebook now notify when the message is sent
- Clicking on News feed in sidebar will scroll you to the top of news feed.
- Change cover photo and profile photo. Upload profile photo direct from camera
- Page admin has new look and feel. See number of people talking about your page and view number of likes.
Facebook App for BlackBerry still lacks so many features available in Android and iOS apps.
The update is rolling out gradually and will be available globally within the next 24 hours.
