Panosonic India has started sending invites to media in country for the launch of its first Android smartphone. Company will be holding a press event on May 16 to officially launch Panasonic p51 Android smartphone.

Panasonic is also running a TV commercial in India to promote Panasonic p51 in India. At this moment, pricing and availability details are unclear. Nothing more about specifications are know. As per leaked details, Panasonic p51 runs on Android Jelly bean. It features a 5 inch IPS HD display (720p) and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. It also has a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. We will have to wait for the media event to know more about this smartphone.

We can expect the price of the smartphone in range of Rs. 17k to 22k. As we know that there are so many low cost quad core phablets are available in Indian market, high pricing for this smartphone will be a bad decision.
