Samsung Announces Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3

Samsung has officially announced Galaxy Mega series of smartphones. Company has also unveiled two smartphones Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3. Both smartphones come with bigger display.

Samsung said that these devices are for those who want to get most from their smartphones. Both devices come with few new capabilities including S Travel provides trip information as well as local guides and resources, and Story Album lets users create albums of events, store moments in a timeline and quickly publish print copies of albums.

“We are aware of a great potential in the bigger screen for extensive viewing multimedia, web browsing, and more,” said JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT & Mobile Business, Samsung Electronics. “We are excited to provide another choice to meet our consumers’ varying lifestyles, all while maintaining the high-quality features of the award-winning GALAXY series.”

Samsung galaxy Mega 5.8 comes with big 5.8 inch touchscreen display with 540×960 pixels qHD resolution. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core processor. It comes with 8 megapixel camera at the back of the device and a 2 megapixel camera at the front. It features 1.5 GB RAM. It comes loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. COnnectivity features of Galaxy Mega 5.8 are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.0 and GPS.

It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. it is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual core processor with 1.5 GB RAM. It also features 8 megapixel camera and 2 megapixel front camera. It is packed with 3200 mAh battery.
