Sony Unveils Xperia SP and Xperia L smartphones

Sony has unveiled two mid range smartphones, Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L. Both smartphone features display larger than 4 inch and comes with Android Jelly Bean onboard.

Sony Xperia SP features a 4.6 inch 720p HD Reality Display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm
MSM8960Pro Dual Core processor and Adreno 320 GPU. It comes with 8 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB.

It features a 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. It also features a front VGA camera for video calling. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, GPRS, GPS and LTE.

It is packed with 2,370 mAh battery that offers talk time of up to 10 hours and 25 minutes and standby time of up to 635 hours.

Sony Xperia SP key specifications

Along with Xperia SP, Sony has unveiled Sony Xperia L. It comes with 4.3 inch TFT display with 480×854 pixels resolution and Scratch-resistant touch panel cover glass. It is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM8230 dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

It features a 8-megapixel Exmor RS autofocus camera with LED flash at the back of the device. For video calls, it features a VGA camera. It comes with 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, GPRS, GPS and LTE Connectivity.

It is packed with 1,750mAh battery that claims to give talk time of up to 8 hours and 30 minutes and standby time of up to 498 hours.
