ZTE Open Announced With Firefox OS, 1 GHz processor

ZTE has announced its first Firefox OS based smartphone called, ZTE Open. This is an entry level smartphone and features 3.5 inch capacitive display with low resolution. Firefox OS was first announced back in July Last year and Mozilla has launched 2 smartphones last month.

ZTE Open is powered by a 1GHz MSM7225A Snapdragon S1 processor and comes with latest Fireox Phone OS. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera. It features only 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen display with 480×320 pixels resolution.

ZTE Open has only 256 MB of RAM and 512 MN internal storage. It has good connectivity options that include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS, with AGPS.

Firefox OS has also integrated with Twitter and Facebook apps. You can also install more apps from Firefox Marketplace.

ZTE One is also packed with 1200 mAh battery that is well enough for this hardware specification.

Nothing about the pricing and launch has been announced by the company. In near future, we will see more Firefox OS based smartphones. At this moment, we cannot say how the smartphone will perform. We will try to give detail about this soon.
