Samsung Galaxy S II Plus Announced with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Samsung has announced Samsung Galaxy S II Plus at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, USA. It comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on board.

Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with a flavour of TouchWiz on top of it. It features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with 480×800 pixel resolution.

It is packed with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB on board storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It come in two models that are with NFC chip and without NFC chip.

It features a 8 megapixel camera with LED flash that can capture good images and record high quality 1080p HD videos. It also features a front 2 megapixel camera.

Connectivity features of the smartphone includes WiFi, A-GPS, 3G and Bluetooth. It is also packed with 1650 mAh battery.

Samsung has not announced the pricing and availability details. But it is expected to cost around Rs. 25,000.

“Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced today Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, which combines the performance that have made the Galaxy S II one of the world’s most recognized phones, together with nature-inspired user-interface and intuitive features that greatly boost its usability and functionality,” Samsung official said in statement.
