Samsung India has just started taking pre-order of its projector phone, Samsung Galaxy Beam. This smartphone was unveiled back in March.
Samsung Galaxy Beam runs on Android 2.3. Galaxy Beam is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor and features a 4.0 inches WVGA TFT screen with 480×800 pixels resolution. It has a 5 mega pixel camera with flash. It features 768 MB RAM, 8 GB Internal storage, that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD slot.
Connectivity features of the projector phone includes wifi, Bluetooth and 3G. It is packed with 2000 mAh battery that claims to give 1200 minutes of talk time on 2G, 575 minutes on 3G and 760 hours of standby time on 2G/3G.
Main feature of this phone is projector that can beam photos and videos on a screen as big as 50 inch. This seems pretty cool for professionals who have to give presentations.
Samsung is taking pre-order for Rs. 29,900 but company failed to tell about shipping details. We hope it will announce it soon.
