Google Docs Get 450 New Fonts, 60 New Templates And More

Google has just announced an update to its popular online document editor, Google Docs. This new updated added 450 new fonts to Google docs. These fonts had already been listed on Google’s Web Fonts site for web designers.

Google has also adopted a smart way to add these fonts. All added fonts will not suddenly appear in your font list to make drop down list long. You have an option to add any of your desired font from “Add fonts” at the very bottom, which will take you to a menu of all the Google Web Fonts available. Once you’ve selected new fonts, you’ll be able to select them from the font menu.

This update also brings more than 60 new templates and improved support for screen readers in Docs. One more noticable feature is for images. Users can now search and insert images in any document. Google has also integrated Google Drive with this update and webcam support.

Now you can also set the default page size for your new documents.
