DropBox now allows Fast sharing with a simple link

DropBox has announced a simple and fast way to share large files with friends. This feature will allow DropBox users to share files to non DropBox users with only a link.

“Sharing with friends and family is easy! Once you have saved that video of your niece’s birthday party to Dropbox, just make a link to send to grandma and she can simply watch online — no download required! This saves you the hassle of having to re-upload or attach it to an email,” DropBox announced.

To do this, just right-click on the folder or file you want to share and select “Get Link” from the pop-up menu. You can do this on website and mobile app both. Then you will get a shortlink of the file. send this file to your friends. Anyone that clicks on the link will be able to download the file to their computer or sync it to their Dropbox folder if they’re logged in.
