Native YouTube for Windows Phone gets update, now plays HQ video

YouTube is one of the most visited website and many users visit it daily with their system and smartphones. But Windows Phone users have no official YouTube client for their smartphone. Although they do not have any dedicated official app, it does not mean that they can not enjoy YouTube videos. They can still browse YouTube with mobile browser.

Microsoft has also pushed an update to its OS which improves the video quality on handsets supporting Microsoft’s mobile OS. The version of the browser is still v.1.0 but the streaming of the videos via HTML5 has improved to the point that you now have the option of watching some videos in HQ.

So users have an alternate way to enjoy videos on YouTube. Now it will be interesting to see when YouTube will launch the dedicated app for Windows Phone platforms.
