First of all, Download the KeepSafe app and install it on your smartphone. This app is free and supports all versions of Android.

When you run the app for the first time, it asks you to enter the secret pin. You can also connect it with your email to recover the pin. This pin is important, so don’t forget it.

Now you can add some photos and videos to this. You can select and add photos using the Keep Safe app by clicking on the + icon and then Pictures.

Once you are done with locking your images and videos, those images and videos will no longer be accessible from the gallery.

To see those photos and videos, go to the app and enter your PIN.

The app also synchronizes your hidden photos and videos across devices with an encrypted Private Cloud. This feature makes sense and is also really helpful for people who use multiple devices. So, the service is also an impressive option for backing up your important and personal photos. It also offers a Safe Send Photo Sharing option. You can share a personal photo with a recipient and the photo disappears 20 seconds after they are received.

To unhide any picture, press the Unhide button at the bottom of the screen, and select and confirm the pictures you would like to unhide. You need to reboot after unhiding the images.

When someone tries to open the Keepsafe app, it asks PIN. You can also set a pattern or fingerprint. The app is also available for iPhone and supports Face ID.

If someone tries to guess the PIN code and makes a wrong attempt to break into the app, it takes photos of intruders and tracks break-in attempts. However, this feature is only available in the premium version of the app. If you actually want to catch someone trying to access your hidden photos, you will have to buy a premium subscription.
