Google has announced a minor update for its email service Gmail. Now users can attach one or more emails as attachments in emails in Gmail. So, you don’t need to download them first before sending it to others.
You can either drag and drop all selected emails or just right-click to select the option “Forward as attachment”. By using any of these options, selected emails will be added to the attachment to send.
Users can attach as many emails as they want and all the emails will appear as .eml file. Clicking on the attachment will open it in the new Tab.
“We’ve heard from you that there are situations where attaching emails makes more sense than forwarding separate emails, like wanting to forward multiple messages related to a single topic,” reads the announcement blog post.
The feature is being rolled out gradually and will be available to all users over next two weeks.
