Xiaomi has launched its first Mi TV in India. It was originally introduced at CES 2017 and was launched in China last year in May. For India launch, Xiaomi has also made efforts and got success in partnering with several companies for offering content on this TV.
Mi LED Smart TV 4. Is a 55-inch 4K HDR TV.It has a frameless design and is just 4.9 mm thick. It boasts Patch Wall UI on top of the Android OS with deep learning AI technology to offer you good experience and personalised recommendations.
The TV also has 11-button remote that has Bluetooth connectivity to control your TV. It also has Mi IR Cable that is Plug-n-Play with no configuration required. The Mi TV 4 supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 / 5GHz) 2X2, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Mi Port, 3 x HDMI 2.0, AV, 1 x USB 2.0 x 1, USB 3.0 x 1 and Ethernet connectivity options. It has 2x 8W speaker for DOLBY AUDIO, DTS-HD. If I talk about other specs, it has 2GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM, 8GB internal memory.
Xiaomi has partnered with Hotstar, SunNxt, Voot, Sony LIV, Hungama and more to offer 500,000+ hours of content on this TV and 80% of the content is free to watch.
Xiaomi also claims that the TV supports all major set-top boxes. You will be able to see the content of Set-top box on the parthWall and the same remote will be used to change the content without needing the remote of set-top box separately. It also has support for Indian languages
The TV will also offer 3-month subscription to Sony Liv and Hungama Play for free. It will also come with a free Mi IR cable (Rs. 299 value) and on-site installation (Rs. 1,099 value).
