Along with Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Xiaomi also launched Redmi Y1 Lite. Even if it belongs to same selfie series of phones, I don’t see this as a selfie phone. It looks more like an upgrade to Redmi 4A with a bigger display.

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite comes with 5.5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass Protection. It also comes with MIUI 9 out of the box. The phone has 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform with Adreno 308 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB of storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB.

Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite

Redmi Y1 Lite comes with 13 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity features of this phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS / GLONASS. It packs 3080mAh battery.

The phone ka priced at Rs.6999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in, Mi.com as well as Mi Home starting from November 8th. It comes in Gold and Dark Gray colors.
