Along with HTC U11+, HTC also announced its Android One smartphone HTC U11 Life running on stock Android 8.0 Oreo. But, the phone will come with HTC’s Sense software in North America.
HTC U11 Life comes with 5.2-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It runs on Android Oreo with Google Assistant out of the box. As the phone is a part of Android One program, Google will control its software updates.
The phone packs an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in tow variants, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The storage is also expandable up to 2TB with microSD.
It comes with 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. It also offers 16-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor, and 1080p video recording.
The phone comes with HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation and Hi-Res audio certified sound. It is Water and dust resistant with the IP67 rating. The phone also has the fingerprint sensor.
It offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and USB-C 2.0 connectivity options. It has 2600mAh built-in battery with QuickCharge 3.0.
It comes in Sapphire Blue and Brilliant Black colors. The Android One model costs €395 in Europe and UK. The sense version costs $349 in the US and will be available on November 3rd.
