Airtel and Karbonn mobiles have joined hands for Airtel’s ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative and launch two new budget 4G phones. These phones are A1 Indian and A41 Power for the effective price of Rs. 1799 and Rs. 1849 respectively. Both smartphones come bundled with Airtel’s Rs. 169 pack to offer you data and voice calling benefits.
It is worth to note that both companies also launch A40 Indian last month for the effective price of Rs. 1399
The prices I mentioned were effective prices and you will have to deposit Rs. Rs 3299 and for ‘A1 Indian and Rs. 3349 for ‘A41 Power’. After that, you need to use the phones for 36 continuous months with monthly recharges of Rs 169 pack from Airtel. You will get Rs. 500 after 18 months and another Rs 1000 after 36 months. In total, you will get Rs. 1500 cash back after 36 months.
In case you are not interested in Rs. 169 plan, you can use any other recharge from Airtel. However, you need to recharge worth Rs. 3000 in first 18 months to claim the Rs. 500 cash back and Rs. 3000 in next 18 months to claim the second refund of Rs. 1000.
A1 India comes with 4-inch WVGA display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. It also features 8GB storage, expandable storage of up to 32 GB, 3.2 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1500 may battery.
A41 Power comes with 4-inch display, Android 7.0 Nougat, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8GB of storage, 32 GB expandable storage, 2 MP rear camera, 0.3 MP front camera, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 2300 meh battery.
Unlike Jio, there is no need to return the device after 36 months to avail the cash back. All the customer support queries will be handled by Karbonn service centers.
