Xiaomi partners with Big Bazaar

Xiaomi has made yet another big partnership to push its smartphones in the offline market. It has partnered with Future Group’s supermarket chain Big Bazaar for selling its Redmi 4 and Redmi Note 4 smartphones during the festive period beginning Wednesday.

Both the phones are doing really well in the Indian market and breaking sales records. The company is also offering Cost EMI offers, & offers on all ICICI Bank cards.

“No other brand has ever sold phones at a supermarket chain,” Manu Jain said while tweeting about this partnership.

He didn’t make it clear whether the a the partnership would continue after the festival period ends after Diwali.

Xiaomi came to the Indian market with online-only sales model but started looking to expand in the offline market after getting good recognition in India. It partnered with The Mobile Store back in 2015 to sell its phones offline. Earlier this year in March, it partnered with Sangeetha, Lot Mobile, and BigC retail store chains to sell its Redmi Note 4. Now with Big Bazaar, it will surely expand its reach throughout the India.

Xiaomi has also started opening its Mi Home stores and they are expanding these stores slowly across the country. They already have their own Mi.com store that is growing really fast. The company gets around 20% sales from the offline market and they have plans to expand it to 30% by the end of this year.

If you were thinking to buy Redmi 4 or Redmi Note 4, you have a chance to grab it from Big Bazaar. But make sure to go as soon as possible because limited stocks are available.
