Vodafone, Micromax Launch Bharat-2 Ultra at Rs. 999 ‘Effective Price’

Now Micromax and Vodafone have partnered to launch a cheap 4G VoLTE phone to beat JioPhone. This phone’s effective price will be Rs. 999 if buyers keep this handset for 3 years.

Micromax Bharat-2 Ultra 4G smartphone costs Rs. 2899 initially. Then the customer will have to recharge at least Rs. 150 per month for next 36 months. If a customer needs the better benefit, he can recharge for a higher amount. But there should a minimum Rs. 150 recharge.

At the end of 18 months, the company will offer cashback of Rs. 900 and an additional cashback of Rs. 1000 after another 18 months. The cashback will be sent to Vodafone M-Pesa wallet. Customers can use it for online payments or withdraw cash.

Micromax Bharat-2 Ultra has 4-inch WVGA display. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor with 512MB RAM. It has 4GB storage, 2 megapixels rear camera and VGA front camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It packs 1300 mAh battery.

This is not the first Micromax partnership. It also launched Bharat-1 last week in partnership with BSNL. A few days back, Airtel and Karbonn also partnered to launch a cheap Android phone for Rs. 1399.
