OKWU has launched two new budget smartphones in Indian market. These phones are Sigma and Yu Fly. These phones are priced at Rs. 8200 and Rs. 9699. OKWU began with its phone OKWU Pi last year in November. The phone came with the dual camera for just Rs. 5999.
OKWU Sigma comes with 5-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android Nougat 7.0. It has 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of storage with the option to expand up to 64GB. The phone has 13 megapixels rear camera with PDAF and 5 Megapixels front camera. This is a dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, micro USB and GPS connectivity. It has 2450mAh battery.
OKWU Yu Fly offers 5.7-inch Full HD display. It is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with 2GB RAM. It also has 16 GB storage with the option to expand storage 64GB. It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 8 megapixels front camera. It offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and GPS connectivity. It packs 3050mAh battery.
The phone aims to target offline market and claims to have its reach over 1200 outlets. It also aims to increase its reach over 5000 outlets by March 2018.
If you see this price segment, you have phones with better specs. So, OWKU has a tough competition to beat. The company is targeting offline market with its retail stores’ strategy.
