Xiaomi has launched a new variant of Redmi 4A in India with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for Rs. 6999. This budget smartphone will be available in Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon India, Tata Cliq, and Paytm from Thursday, August 31. Flipkart has already listed Redmi 4A (3GB).

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A with 2GB RAM was launched in India in March at Rs. 5,999. Previously, the smartphone was launched only in one variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The new variant of Redmi 4A has same features of previous Redmi 4A except for RAM and ROM. Also, the look and design of the smartphone are same as the previous variant.
The Radmi 4A new variant still has 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 and has Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
The Rdmi 4A (32GB) has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

It comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. The phone also offers Infrared sensor. This smartphone is powered by 3100 mAh battery with fast charging support.
Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President at Xiaomi and Managing Director at Xiaomi India confirmed this new launch via Twitter. Redmi India official twitter handle also tweeted about this new member of the family.
