Today at an event in Dubai, Coolpad launched the cheapest phone with 6GB of RAM in India. This new phone is Coolpad Cool Play 6. It is priced at Rs. 14999 and it will be available exclusively on Amazon starting September 4. The phone was originally launched in China back in May 2017.

Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD panel. It runs Android 7.1.1 with Journey UI at the top of it. The phone has a metal unibody design and will be available in black and gold color options. The dimensions of the phone measure 152.00 x 75.20 x 8.45 and it weighs 170 grams.

It is powered by 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and Adreno 510 GPU. It has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 packs a dual (13MP + 13MP) rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. It is capable of shooting pictures in many modes like bokeh, slow video, long exposure, mono photo, and more.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is a dual SIM smartphone with connectivity options including 4G with LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C. The phone packs a 4060mAh non-removable battery.

The specifications and design of this smartphone are really interesting with the budget price of Rs. 14999. The phone looks to be the upgraded variant of Cool 1 dual.
