Xiaomi X1 with Dual camera, Snapdragon 660 SoC and Bezel-Less Display

Xiaomi is reportedly planning to start a new series of smartphones and the first member of this series will be Xiaomi X1. This phone could be the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 leaked few times in past.

As per the reports, there will be two variants of Xiaomi X1. One will have a full-screen design and the other will have a regular screen. The full-screen design indicates the Bezel-Less Display similar to Mi Mix.

The device will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM models with 64GB and 128GB storage respectively. The most affordable model will be costing 1999 Yuan and the high-end model will cost up to 2799 Yuan.

Since there is no official confirmation, these details are just to give you an idea. The company could change the pricing at the time of launch.

The first variant with the Bezel-less display will come with a Pegasus display with the full-screen design. The screen resolution will be 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. It will have Snapdragon 660 chipset. The phone got a dual camera with IMX362 or IMX386. There will also be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The second Xiaomi X1 variant is expected to come with a regular screen and full HD display. It will also have Snapdragon 660 chop along with a front facing fingerprint scanner.

Few reports also suggest that Xiaomi X1 could be the Xiaomi Jason leaked on GFXBench.

The company decided to replace Redmi Pro 2 with a new series of the phone because the original model didn’t perform well in the market.
