New Render of Google Pixel XL 2 shows 6-inch AMOLED display with narrow bezel

Now we have started getting information about Google’s upcoming Pixel phones. A few days back, a report talked about specifications, now Android Police has published the first render of Pixel XL 2 smartphone showing large display with narrow bezel and rounded corner.

This new phone has a large 6-dich display. The phone has the similar design as we saw in first generation Pixel XL but with few changes. LG is manufacturing this phone.

This time, the corners are bit sharper and fingerprint scanner sits below the glass window. Google’s logo is at the same place on the back panel. The new Pixel XL may also have a “squeezable” frame, similar to the HTC U11. So, you can just squeeze the handset to interact.

The phone will reportedly come with Snapdragon 835 clocked at 2.45GHz, 4GB of RAM, 128GB storage. Unlike trend, Google is using single camera sensor with dual LED flash.

The phone could be called Pixel 2 XL or Pixel XL 2. This cannot be confirmed until the official announcement. Second generation Pixel phones are expected to become official in October. So, we can expect the Android 8.0 on board.

Last year’s Pixel phones couldn’t do enough. So, Google will have to make this phone more appealing. Samsung’s Galaxy S8 is already attracting consumers. Apple is also preparing something bigger for its 10th anniversary iPhone. So, Google will surely face tough competition.
