Next big smartphone from Samsung will be Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the phone will be coming later this year. It is expected to be announced at IFA 2017 in Berlin. Rumors and leaks have started suggesting the possible specifications.
Now the recent leak suggested that the Samsung is working on this phone with the code name “Samsung Gr3at.” Previously, reports suggested the code name be Great.

Along with code name, the recent report also suggested that the phone runs on Android 7.1.1. This leak came from the HTML5 test where Samsung scored 517 out of 555 in the browser test. This number makes it one of the top performers.
The test phone was running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 but we expect that the phone will come with Android O if it is available at the time of launch. The phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 836 processor or the Exynos 8895 chipset. Snapdragon 836 processor will be an 8nm chip and is currently under development.
The phone is expected to come with 6.3-inch or 6.4-inch Super AMOLED QHD display. It will also have very narrow bezels. It will have dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel telephoto lens and the 13-megapixel wide angle lens. For selfies, there will be an 8 megapixels shooter.

The Chinese website CNMO.com posted the photo of possible Galaxy Note 8. The publication claimed it to be first real world photo of Galaxy Note 8 showing vertically aligned dual rear camera setup.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be the successor of Galaxy Note 7 that created the huge controversy. The phone comes with Apple iPhone 8, so Samsung does not want to take any chance.
