Two days after the global announcement, OnePlus has finally launched its next flagship phone OnePlus 5 in India. OnePlus 5 comes in two variants: 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB. These models are priced at Rs. 32999 and Rs 37,999 respectively. Amazon will start selling OnePlus 5 starting today at 4:30 PM.
OnePlus will also hold pop-up events where OnePlus fans can experience the device. These events will be held four Indian cities including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai, from June 23 to June 25.
OnePlus 5 is another flagship killer from OnePlus with high-end specs. This year, the company focused on camera experience. OnePlus 5 comes with 16 megapixels + 20 megapixels dual camera setup at the rear panel and 16 megapixels camera at the front. The OnePlus 5 camera is capable of capturing ‘bokeh’ style images. The camera also offers different camera modes including a pro mode. You also get selfie flash as well.
OnePlus 5 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. It also has a physical home button below the display that is equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by powerful Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at up to 2.45GHz. You have two variants based on RAM/storage – 6GB/8GB RAM with 64GB/128GB ROM. It runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 7.1.1 with several new features including a reading mode.
The phone is backed by a 3300 mAh battery with support to company’s Dash Charge technology. The company claims that the battery will offer ‘all day’s power in half an hour of charging.’
