As expected, HTC has launched its flagship device HTC U11 in India. The phone comes with high-end specifications to make it a premium device. So, the phone comes with the price tag of Rs. 51990. The phone was originally announced last month in Taiwan.
HTC U11 has 5.5-inch Quad HD 3D glass screen on the front. The same 3D glass has been used on the back to make it attractive. Both front and back has Gorilla Glass 5. The phone has ‘liquid surface’ design scheme with metal frame and highly polished glass on the back.
It is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB RAM. The phone also pack 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. The storage is also expandable up to 2TB with microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC Sense UI, HTC Edge Sense and HTC Sense Companion. It supports both Google Assistant and Alexa in selected countries. It has Edge Sense technology that allows users to interact with it through a squeeze.
The camera of this phone is very good. It has 12 megapixels HTC UltraPixel 3 rear camera with Dual LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 1.4μm pixel, OIS, UltraSpeed Autofocus and RAW capture. The camera can also record 4K video with 3D audio. It can also record 120fps slow mo videos at 1080p. While video recording, you can visually zoom in to target your subject and amplify their specific sounds.
It also has 16 megapixels front camera with 1080p video recording. The selfie camera comes with wide-angle lens and it also has Selfie Panorama mode. It has been optimized for taking good snaps in low light.
The phone aims to offer excellent music experience. So, it features USB-C audio, HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation,HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition and 3D Audio recording with 4 microphones. It is also Hi-Res audio certified. HTC U Sonic claims to deliver true sound that is also capable of adapting to the user. Yes, the phone lacks regular 3.5 mm audio port and it ships with USB Type-C to 3.5mm dongle in the box.
It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 connectivity options. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It also has Water and dust resistant body with IP67 certifications. The phone also has fingerprint scanner.
The phone will be available by the end of this month. It comes in Brilliant Black and Amazing Silver color option.
