Today, Gionee announced a giant phone with high-end specs and large display. The company announced Gionee M6S Plus in China. This phone is the successor Gionee M6 Plus launched last year and comes with 6020 mAh battery.
The phone comes in Ink Black color and is priced at 3499 yuan for 64GB storage variant and 4299 yuan for 256GB storage variant. The smartphone is now up for pre-order and sale will go on sale starting from May 2nd.

Gionee M6S Plus comes with 6-inch Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.5. It has Octa Core Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU.
The phone comes with 6GB LPDDR3 RAM. It will be available in 64GB and 256GB storage models with option to further expand storage up to 256GB. It also supports USB OTG.

It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and 1.4μm Pixel size. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4um pixel size.
Gionee M6S Plus has fingerprint sensor located on the back. It also has an encrypted chip that will be used to secure a user’s personal data on the device.

The phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity options. It is packed with 6020 mAh battery with support to fast charging.
The dimensions of the phone measure 163.3 x 80.9 x 8.25mm. It Weighs 215g. While the phone looks good in terms of specifications, not all people prefer phones of this size.
