Panasonic launches Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max smartphones with ARBO AI in India

Today, Panasonic launches its two new smartphones, Panasonic Eluga Ray X and Panasonic Eluga Ray Max with its new ‘Artificial intelligence’ in India. The Panasonic named this virtual buddy ‘ARBO’ which is the in-house developed artificial intelligence (AI)- based virtual assistant. Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is the first smartphone by Panasonic that supports ARBO artificial intelligence.

 Manish Sharma, President and CEO, Panasonic India and South Asia, and Executive Officer, Panasonic Corporation said: “With the launch of our first AI-enabled smartphones, we are now expanding our product offerings which will help empower our consumer base and assist them in performing tasks in a smarter way.”

Head of Mobility Division, Pankaj Rana said that Panasonic Eluga Ray Max and Panasonic Eluga Ray X will be exclusively available at Flipkart. “Arbo means a tree that grows more as you nurture it. We have to grow along with all our customers.” Pankaj Rana added in the speech at the event.

The Eluga Ray X is available for Rs 8,999, whereas the Eluga Ray Max available for Rs 11,499 for 32GB and Rs 12,499 for 64GB storage variant only on Flipkart.

Panasonic Eluga Ray Max comes with a 5.20-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0. Panasonic Eluga Ray Max will be available in two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB. Panasonic Eluga Ray Max has a 16-MP rear camera and 8-MP front camera. Ray max is dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE. It has 3000mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Panasonic Eluga Ray X comes with an IPS 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It has a quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Ray X has a 13 MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. Ray X is dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE. It has 4000 mAh battery with no quick charge technology.
