Samsung has made it clear that we won’t be seeing the launch of the Galaxy S8 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). However, that hasn’t stopped the leaks and teasers of the much-awaited flagship.
Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy S8 will arrive on 29th March 2017 and has sent out invitations to the press. The invitation teases the Galaxy S8’s design, urging to ‘Unbox your phone’.

Well, it is not much but confirms the slim bezels on the S8. The teaser matches the leaks that have been pouring lately.
For the uninitiated, there have been many leaks and rumors regarding the design and specs of the Samsung Galaxy S8. In the first week of February, the cases for the upcoming flagship surfaced online. The images showed two cases, indicating the two variants of the device, probably a 5.7” regular S8 and a 6.2” S8 Plus. It is also rumored that the fingerprint sensor will possibly be on the back.
Last week, the images of the S8 were leaked and revealed that it has no front physical fingerprint scanner. The images also showed the device flaunting extremely thin bezels and a curved screen. The USB type C and headphone jack have been spotted at the bottom. It is evident that the company has ditched the physical capacitative keys and have opted on screen keys.
Another picture of the S8 and S8 Plus had been released and shows both the devices in all its glory.
Recently, a hands-on video of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus was leaked. The video has proved most of the leaks and rumors true. The leaked video reveals nothing much and confirms the device having very slim bezels and a repositioned fingerprint sensor.
Another hands-on video of the S8 was leaked more recently and shows the phone actually being used. However, the video is extremely short.
Coming to the specs, last week the specifications of the Galaxy S8 Plus was leaked by the reliable phone leaker evleaks.
