Asus has officially announced its first phone with Tango camera module and support to Google’s Daydream platform. This phone Asus Zenfone AR is world’s first phone with 8GB RAM. This phone will roll out starting from Q2 2017. The company didn’t specify pricing details.

This phone is second Tango enabled smartphone after Lenovo Phab 2. It has 5.7-inch 1440 x 2560 super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM models.

It comes in different storage models including 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256 GB with the option to expand storage via its Hybrid SIM slots. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Zenfone UI 3.0.

It has 23 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Largan lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, and Laser AF. It also offers 8-megapixels front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, and 85-degree wide-viewing angle.

It comes with Built-in Mono 5 magnet speaker, ASUS SonicMaster 3.0, DTS Headphone: X for virtual 7.1 surround sound Hi-Res Audio 192kHz/24-bit standard and NXP Smart AMP technology. So, you can expect awesome music experience in the phone.

It also has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac5 GHz 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity options. It is packed with 3300mA with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
