OnePlus has brought a good news for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners. The company has started rolling out the official update of OxygenOS 4.0 based on Android Nougat 7.0.
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei confirmed the updates via his official Twitter account on December 31st. The updates are being rolled out gradually and will be available to all users in next few days.
The new Oxygen OS brings various new notable changes. Here are some highlights.

- Added Status Bar Icon Options
- Improved Shelf Customization
After this update, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T both will now run on same software.
If you do not want to wait for the OTA, you can install the software manually. The Nougat beta build is already available to download via official OnePlus forum. This beta build is only for OnePlus 3T.
We have no information when the Android Nougat update will come to OnePlus 2.
