Swipe Technologies has launched its latest budget phone in Elite series of smartphones. This new phone is Swipe Elite Star. It is priced at Rs. 3333 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart.
Swipe Elite Star comes with Indus OS, World’s First Regional Operating System based on Android 6.0. So, the phone supports 12 regional Indian languages. It also offers two key features Transliterate and Translate through the Indus Swipe. Swipe left to Transliterate (write using the closest corresponding letters of a different alphabet or language) and Swipe right to Translate.
Swipe Elite Star comes with 4-inch display, 1,5GHz Quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.
This phone also comes with 5 megapixels rear camera, 1.3 megapixels front camera, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB and 2000 mAh battery.
The USP of the phone is the Indus OS and the phone priced too low to target the people who are first time smartphone buyers. In this kind of phone, regional language support is an important thing because most of the first time smartphone buyers prefer their local language in the phone. With 4G VoLTE, the phone supports Reliance Jio and helps them connect to the internet.
