Few iPhone users are suffering from battery issues after iOS 10 update

Apple iPhone 6S

Few days after launching iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple rolled out iOS 10 to all supporting iOS devices. Now, few iPhone users are suffering from battery drain issue. While most of the issues reported are related to iPhone 5S, few iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S users are also facing the same.

Apple has not made any comment on this issue and it is also not clear if the issue is widespread or related to only few devices.

On a reddit post, few users reported their battery related issue after upgrading to iOS 10. One such user confirmed that Safari is now consuming most of the battery which drained the battery by 32% in just 39 minutes. Users who used to get a full day usage are now forced to charge the phone twice a day.

We can expect this issue to be fixed in the next update. There is also a little workaround to fix this issue. Few users reported that resetting the phone can fix this issue. But, be sure to take back up of the device before resetting the phone.

If you are an iPhone user, let us know if you are also facing the same kind of battery issue.
