Android 7.0 Nougat update is now available for Android One phones

Google has started rolling our Android 7.0 Nougat update to Android One smartphones. There is no official confirmation from Google about this, but few users have started receiving the OTA update.

We are not sure if the update will also available for Indian Android One devices, but GSMArena reported the availability of an update to Cherry Mobile G1. This is the official over-the-air update.

Android 7.0 Nougat for Android One phones

If you are using Android One devices, you still have a hope. It was reported that first-generation Android One devices won’t be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat.

An unofficial version of Android N is already available for Android devices. Indian developer, Varun Chitre has released the CM14 build for Android One smartphones.
