Oppo has launched its new selfie focused phone Oppo F1S in Indian market. It is priced at Rs. 17990 and comes with 16-megapixels front camera. Ahh, do we really need this kind of selfie experience? Let me know in comments.
Oppo F1S features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with 3GB RAM and Mali T860 GPU.
It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. At front, it has 16-megapixels front camera with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture. Other front camera features include Beautify 4.0 app for selfie editing, the Selfie Panorama feature that stitches together three selfies, and the Screen Flash feature. It you need ultimate selfie experience, you can go with this. I cannot talk about its performance at this time.
It has a fingerprint sensor at physical home button and it claims to unlock the phone in just 0.22 seconds. Connectivity features of the phone are 4G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Best thing is that it has dedicated dual nano SIM slots and a separate microSD expansion slot.
It is packed with 3075 mAh battery.. Well, this could be better.
It comes in Gold and Grey colors. It will be available for pre-order from August 4th till August 10. After that, it will be available across metro cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Bhopal, Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Vijaywada, Hyderabad, Ghaziabad and Ahmedabad. If you want to buy it online, it will only be available from Amazon.
