Asus has added another member in its Zenpad range. It has launched Asus ZenPad 3 8.0. This new model appears to be an alternative to the Verizon-centric ZenPad Z8 from June.
Asus ZenPad 3 8.0 comes with 7.9-inch quadHD display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution, Tru2Life+ Technology and multi-touch support. It is powered by hexa-core 1.8GHz Snapdragon 650 Soc with Adreno 510 GPU.
It will be available in two variants: 2 GB RAM with 16 GB storage and 4 GB RAM with 32 GB storage. Both variants offer expandable storage up to 128 GB. There will also be 5GB of ASUS web storage space with lifetime duration and 100GB of Google Drive space for two years
It has an 8-megapixels rear camera and 2 megapixels front camera. Connectivity features of the tablet are 4G, 3G, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, a USB Type-C. It also has stereo speaker with DTS HD Premium audio. There is also support for aptX, DTS headphone:X, and Sonic Master Technology.
It is packed with 4680 mAh battery which claims to offer 11 hours of mixed usage.
It measures 8.1″ x 5.4″ x 0.3″ and weighs 11.3 ounces.
