Micromax has launched its new phablet Micromax Canvas Mega 2 in Indian market for Rs. 7999. Company claims that this new large-screen smartphone aims young, evolved, hyper-social and on the go consumers. This phone will be available in Black color.

Micromax Canvas Mega 2 features a 6-inch qHD IPS display and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor with 1GB RAM. It come with 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage.
It features a 8-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixels front camera. Connectivity features of this phone include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery.
Pricing of this phone seems higher as per the specifications it offers. Just because it is large, it doesn’t make sense to pay high amount.

We believe, there will be further rise of mobile internet and persistent increase in demand for larger screens and video consumption. Micromax spotted these trends early on with its super successful Doodle series and now furthering it with Mega series by offering consumers various large screen smartphones options to provide an immersive internet and entertainment experience.”
